Dashboard Overview

The LiteWork dashboard is your home screen — the first thing you see after signing in and selecting a company. It gives you a quick snapshot of your business activity and fast access to your most common tasks.

What You’ll See

The dashboard displays key information at a glance:

  • Recent Documents: Your most recently created or edited invoices and quotes, with document numbers, client names, amounts, and status indicators
  • Quick Actions: Buttons to create a new invoice or quote without navigating through menus
  • Search: A search bar to find documents by number, client name, or amount

Navigation

From the dashboard, you can access everything in LiteWork:

  • Header bar: Create new documents, access contacts, open settings, and reach the help center
  • Document list: Click any document to open it for editing
  • Company switcher: If you manage multiple companies, switch between them from the header

Getting Back to the Dashboard

Click the LiteWork logo in the top-left corner at any time to return to the dashboard.

First Time Here?

If you’ve just created your account, the dashboard may look empty. That’s normal — start by:

  1. Setting up your company with your business details and logo
  2. Creating your first invoice
  3. Adding your first contacts

💡 Tip: If you’re connected to Xero, your existing invoices and contacts will sync automatically. Check LiteWork Settings → Xero Sync to get started.
