Sync Status

Monitor your Xero synchronization from the dashboard widget or LiteWork Settings → Xero Integration.

Status Indicators

Green (Connected): Active connection, syncing works normally.

Yellow (Warning): Connection expiring soon or recent sync failures need attention.

Red (Disconnected): OAuth token expired or connection revoked. Reconnect to resume syncing.

Document Sync Status

Each document shows its individual sync state:

  • ✓ Green checkmark: Successfully synced to Xero
  • ⟳ Blue circle: Sync in progress
  • ! Yellow warning: Conflict or issue needs review
  • ✗ Red X: Sync failed (click for error details)
  • ○ Gray circle: Not yet synced

Viewing Sync History

The sync dashboard shows recent activity: what synced, when, and whether it succeeded. Filter by document type or status to find specific items.

Handling Failed Syncs

Click on a failed sync to see the error message. Common fixes: post the missing contact, change a duplicate invoice number, or update an invalid account code. After fixing the issue, retry the sync.

Connection Expiry

Xero connections expire every 60 days. LiteWork warns you before expiry. Click “Reconnect” to refresh—takes only a few seconds and all your existing links are preserved.
