Signing In to LiteWork

Access your LiteWork account at litework.nz. How you sign in depends on how you created your account.

Sign In with Google

If you created your account using Google, click Sign in with Google and select your Google account. You’ll be signed in immediately—no password needed.

This is the most convenient option. Google handles the authentication, and you stay signed in across devices where you’re logged into Google.

Sign In with Email and Password

If you created your account with an email address:

  1. Enter your email address
  2. Enter your password
  3. Click Sign in

LiteWork keeps you signed in for 30 days on each device. You won’t need to enter your password again unless you sign out or clear your browser data.

Forgot Your Password?

Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page. Enter your email address and we’ll send a reset link.

  1. Check your inbox for the reset email (check spam if you don’t see it)
  2. Click the reset link—it’s valid for 1 hour
  3. Choose a new password (at least 10 characters)
  4. Sign in with your new password

Tip: If you originally signed up with Google, you won’t have a password to reset. Use the Google sign-in button instead.

Account Lockout

To protect your account, LiteWork temporarily locks sign-in after multiple failed password attempts:

  • 5 failed attempts — 15-minute lockout
  • 10 failed attempts — 1-hour lockout
  • 20+ failed attempts — 24-hour lockout

If you’re locked out, wait for the lockout period to end, then try again with the correct password—or use the password reset option.

Email Not Verified?

If you signed up with email but didn’t verify it, you’ll see a prompt to verify. Check your inbox for the verification email—or click Resend verification email to get a new one.

Verification links expire after 24 hours. If yours has expired, request a new one from the sign-in page.

Switching Between Organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations (perhaps you’ve been invited to a team), you can switch between them after signing in. Click your organization name in the header to see all organizations you have access to.

Each organization has its own companies, documents, and contacts. Your role might be different in each organization.

Signing Out

Click your name or email in the header, then select Sign out. This ends your session on the current device only—other devices remain signed in.

For security, sign out when using shared or public computers.

Troubleshooting

“Invalid email or password”

Double-check your email address for typos. Remember that passwords are case-sensitive. If you’re still stuck, use the password reset option.

“This account uses Google sign-in”

You created your account with Google, so there’s no password. Click Sign in with Google instead.

“Account temporarily locked”

Too many failed sign-in attempts. Wait for the lockout period shown on screen, then try again.

Not receiving password reset emails?

Check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you’re entering the email address you used to sign up. If you used Google sign-in, there’s no password to reset.
