Viewing Billing History

Access your complete payment history, download invoices for your records, and track your LiteWork subscription charges over time.

Accessing Your Billing History

  1. Go to LiteWork Settings → Billing
  2. Scroll to the Billing History section
  3. View your list of past invoices

Only the organization Owner can access billing settings. If you’re an Admin, Member, or Viewer, you won’t see this option.

What You’ll See

Each invoice in your billing history shows:

  • Date — When the payment was made
  • Invoice number — Unique identifier for your records
  • Amount — Total charged including GST
  • Status — Paid, pending, or failed
  • Download link — Get the PDF invoice

Downloading Invoices

Click any invoice to view or download the PDF. Each invoice includes:

  • Your business name and address
  • LiteWork’s business details
  • Invoice date and number
  • Subscription plan and period
  • Amount before GST
  • GST amount (for NZ customers)
  • Total paid

Save these for your accounting records and GST returns.

Using Invoices for GST Claims

LiteWork invoices are valid GST tax invoices for New Zealand businesses. They include:

  • LiteWork’s GST number
  • GST amount clearly stated
  • Your business details (as configured)

Use these invoices to claim the GST portion as an expense in your accounting.

Understanding Charges

Regular Subscription

Monthly or annual charges for your plan (Solo, Team, or Business). Appears on your billing date each period.

Prorated Charges

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you pay the difference for the remaining time. These appear as separate line items.

Plan Changes

If you upgraded or downgraded, the invoice shows both the old and new amounts.

Finding a Specific Invoice

Invoices are listed in reverse chronological order (newest first). For older invoices, scroll down or use your browser’s search function.

If you need an invoice that’s not appearing, check your email—Stripe also sends receipts directly after each payment.

Updating Billing Details

To change the business name or address on future invoices:

  1. Go to LiteWork Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing
  3. Update your billing information in the Stripe portal

Changes apply to future invoices only. Past invoices can’t be modified.

Missing Invoices

If an invoice isn’t appearing:

  • Check your email for receipts from Stripe
  • Wait a few minutes after payment—invoices may take time to appear
  • Contact support@litework.nz if it’s still missing
