January 2026 — Commercial Launch

User Accounts and Authentication

LiteWork now has proper user accounts. Sign up with Google for instant access, or create an account with email and password. Your account is protected with modern security features including breach-checked passwords, account lockout protection, and secure session management. Learn more →

Organizations

Your LiteWork account is now built around organizations—your central hub for subscription, team, and companies. Create multiple companies within your organization (depending on your plan) each with their own invoices, contacts, and Xero connection. Learn more →

Billing Portal

Manage your subscription through a secure Stripe-powered billing portal. Change plans, update payment methods, switch between monthly and annual billing, and download invoices for your records. Learn more →

MySQL-Only Architecture

LiteWork now stores all data in secure, NZ-hosted cloud infrastructure. Your data is protected with encryption, automatic backups, and enterprise-grade security. Xero Online Invoice Link

Include a direct link to Xero’s online invoice viewer in your emails and PDFs. When clients click the link, they can view your invoice in Xero’s secure portal and pay immediately if you have payment services configured in Xero. This is the fastest way to get paid—no more chasing overdue invoices. Learn more →

Send Email Improvements

The email modal has been completely redesigned with a cleaner interface and smarter features. Choose from email templates, toggle the Xero payment link with one click, and get a save confirmation before sending to ensure clients always receive the latest version. Learn more →

Sync History Dashboard

The new Sync History dashboard provides complete visibility into every Xero sync operation. View success rates, filter by date or status, search for specific invoices, and export detailed logs to CSV for auditing. Find it in LiteWork Settings → Sync History. Learn more →

PDF Styling

Your invoices now look even more professional with improved PDF formatting. Section headers are cleaner, page breaks are smarter (no more orphaned headers), and the notes section stays properly positioned at the bottom of the document. Learn more →

Auto-Sync

Say goodbye to manual syncing. Auto-Sync runs in the background at configurable intervals (5-30 minutes), keeping your LiteWork documents synchronized with Xero. Contacts sync instantly when you’re connected to Xero—no need to push them manually. Smart conflict detection alerts you when both systems have changes that need your attention. Learn more →

Document Manager Redesign

The document manager has been redesigned for a better experience. First-time users see a welcoming start screen with quick actions to create their first invoice or import from Xero. Payment Integration
